Invited by Salvatore Origlio to the Jazz Club de Grenoble, Lucas Saint-Cricq presented La Petite Section in a concert of modern jazz — powerful and generous. Driven by the electronified saxophone, keyboards, bass and a drum kit blending acoustic and electronic, the music quickly won over a full house.
Blending jazz, groove, oriental influences, flamenco, funk and electronic textures, the group unfolded a world at once expansive, energetic and deeply alive. The musicians' chemistry, their freedom to improvise and their sheer joy of playing together created a genuine connection with the audience.
This concert confirms the strong identity of Lucas Saint-Cricq: music rooted in jazz, open to sonic hybridisation, driven by emotion, rhythm and a communicative energy.
